On match days, playing shirts will be provided by your age group. Each age group will have different ways of handling this, you may be given a shirt which is yours to look after during the season - and remember to bring to matches! You will be required to return it at the end of the season; or the squad will have a set of shirts which are given our on match days; the washing of the kit may be rotated around the team, or you may be asked to contribute a small charge towards washing.
All players need to provide their own boots (see below), mouthguard, Old Scouts shorts and socks. All other kit, waterproofs, training tops and pants are optional.
Our kit supplier is currently Macron; you can purchase kit directly from their website. Their sizes can come up on the small side, we do have sizing samples available at the club or ask a friendly team mate what size they wear. Whilst garmets can be returned, any which have personalisation can't and we would recommend personalisation as kids are notorious for forgetting to pick up their kit!
Rugby boots are difficult to find in small sizes so football boots will do the job, but IRB rules insist on kite marked aluminium studs, or blades. Studs are often checked and football studs or those with sharp edges will be considered illegal and you won't be allowed to wear them.
