A fantastic performance from the boys today, coming away with an impressive 50–0 win against Daventry.

Eddie got us off to a great start, opening the scoring and going on to complete a well-deserved hat-trick just after half-time. Alfie, Tom Williams, Beau, Bryce and Ernie also got themselves on the scoresheet, with some excellent attacking rugby throughout.

There was also plenty to be pleased about with the kicking, both from hand and off the tee, helping the boys keep pressure on and build a healthy lead.

Perhaps the biggest positive, though, was the defensive effort. The boys worked really hard for each other, stayed organised and showed great commitment right through to the final whistle to keep Daventry scoreless. Very positive comments from the referee regarding the level of skill, positive attitude and discipline.

It was a real team performance, with everyone contributing and supporting each other. A super-tight squad, lots of hard work and plenty of smiles made for a great afternoon of rugby.

Final score: U14s 50–0 Daventry

Well done, boys — you should all be very proud of that performance!
