At a sunny Wellingborough. The Reds catapulted themselves out of their pool, winning 4 out of 4 and got narrowly beaten in the cup final. The belief of our reds was quite extraordinary. A true team performance. The desire to compete was a joy to witness. Well done.

The Blues, bulldozing their way through the pool were one try away from joining the reds. A Scouts v Scouts final was a distinct possibility throughout the morning. Alas it wasn't to be, as they got outdone by a last minute try in their final pool game. However some of the rugby on display by the blues was breathtaking.

It was wonderful to witness the depth of the squad today. Each of our players contributed. We were praised by more than one club for our running rugby, defensive guile and above all sportsmanship.
