Unbeaten In Daventry
A successful trip on the road for our under 7s with 2 wins and 2 draws
We took 4 teams to Daventry and enjoyed a fun morning with the forecast rain thankfully not appearing!
Our non bibs were up first, winning 10-7; highlights included the number of turnovers generated by a good team approach and defensive line being pounced on by James and turned into trys
Our red team then drew 6-6; highlights included Liam’s dodging, Heath’s aggressive running and Jack’s team play (passing without being tagged)
Our yellow team played next, winning 10-2; an outstanding performance with a high speed defence led by Lewis – other highlights, Charlie’s sidestep into the corner and Sam’s mazy run for a try
Our blue team played last, drawing 9-9; a really good team performance – highlights Max’s trys and (perhaps of the whole morning) Evie’s never ending run to the try line
