A well deserved win for Bugbrooke today.
A poor defence from the start saw Bugbrooke score in the first three minutes and convert 0-7. It took 11 minutes before Scouts could turn their effort in to a score through Harry Goodwin and Ethan Clough Converting. 7-7
Bugbrooke quickly returned their lead in the 20th minute 7-12. With Patrick Goodger finding some space a couple of of minutes later, Scouts again pulled level and then took the lead through a conversion from Ethan Clough (14-12). Bugbrooke again sliced through the Scouts defence retaking the lead 14-17 as half-time ticked closer.
Ben Jones took Scouts into the lead again just before half time with a drive through straight off the bench.
Halftime 19-17
Despite knowing the threat Bugbrookes backline continued to have it their own way scoring 4 unanswered try's in the second half before Scouts responded in the 51st minute with Harry Goodwin spotting space to chase a good cross field kick. (24-41)
With only 8 minutes left, after the kick, Scouts deficit was too much but they kept playing to score again in the 58th minute with Harry Goodwin using excellent footwork and Ethan Clough securing the extra 2.
