After the disappointment of missing the Daventry fixture last week, the 1st XV were keen to make amends for the Bedford Ath loss a couple of weeks ago.
The slip mean Scouts dropped to 3rd and shows what a tight league it is. However, even when adding the missed game last week, they are still in 3rd and therefore no need to panic. The next few games in the league could change the top in favour of Scouts.
Beating Peterborough away is no mean feat and once again the hosts were tough and difficult to break down. Following a good back and forth first half, Scouts turned up the pressure and stretched away from Peterborough for the win.
The squad have had a well behaved first half of the season, but recently there has been more than one unwelcome card and this week there was three yellows. Skill and Passion is needed to win this league but so is 15 players on the pitch and in tough games Scouts have got to keep their nerve.
Kettering at home this week.
