One sided win ends league season

On Saturday the Northampton Old Scouts ended what has been a miserable season for Newbold with an 81-0 thrashing.

Bizarrely, Newbold recorded one of only three losses for league winners Nuneaton which was right at the beginning of the season. However, its been very tough going ever since and Saturday was not different.

Credit to the Scouts, at half time they were 48-0 up and its not easy to continue the pace against a struggling side. But they produced some wonderful rugby and kept on going to get their biggest win of the year.

That's it for the league, now its on to the Alliance and PJ Cup!
