The Old Scouts bus rumbled over to Peterborough and gave a much more resounding performance than previously in the season.
The win back in October by 4 points was a distant memory as the team got 5 tries, 5 points (four yellows!) and a much needed workout in preparation for Market Harborough at home this week.
Peterborough did their best to stop the visitors with some standout individual performances but the team were not a match for the Scouts overall.
The pick of the tries was actually the first one and came from a revolting 'in and out' from Noah Jervis. He stood up his opposite number and whizzed in to the corner. A close second was the last try. A bulldozing attack from the forwards let loose Callum Inwood who neatly offloaded to Richard Bussey on full charge. The only thing that would have stopped the second rower was a roast dinner and cold pint and summed up the great run of form he has been in the last few games.
Even more pleasing was that Peterborough were held to only 10 points and rarely looked to get a break through the Scouts defence.
