Job done against newly promoted Wellingborough

The Scouts visited cut throat lane for a fixture they needed to put right. In last season it was a loss at Wellingborough away that ended their winning run.
The mood in the squad was very clear though. Get the job done and move on to preparation for Peterborough at home.

A one sided game showed the quality difference between the two sides and The Scouts were pleased with the effort. Particularly to not concede a try.
Tries came from Simmons, Sharpe, Barrett, Finney, Blaikie and Jervis with Brenan adding 9 from the boot. The only sour note of the game was losing hooker Alex Finney to injury. One that is likely to keep him out till the new year.
