The Old Scouts stuffed Bugbrooke on Thursday and in doing so will make their 4th consecutive visit to the Alliance Cup Final at Franklin Gardens.
With 3 titles under their belt, a 4th will be a true achievement as they will face Old Northamptonians. They have beaten their rivals 3 times, twice in the semi, but this year will prove a very tough test.

The Cup match on Thursday was a success in many ways. Not only was the score very one sided, some lovely rugby was played. The nicer weather makes the Scouts set piece look very classy and the open field play was very much the same.

To disrupt the team, the coaches moved players around and even forwards in to the backs. (sounds very Eddie Jones) but the exercise was worthwhile to prepare for it happening in games with only 3 substitutes.

Congratulations to George Berry and Harrison Rosier for making their 1st team debuts. Both made good contributions to the game and we hope to see some more of them before the season is finished.
