It is with the heaviest of hearts that Steve's family have asked the club to put this announcement on our site for any who might not have heard the sad news.

Steve passed away in the early hours of 2nd Apr having lived with prostate cancer for over 3 years which he had been able to manage on his terms, however a major stroke in January had other ideas, and unfortunately this lead to a gradual decline in his health.

The family would like to thank all their friends and family who took the time to visit him in hospital and for the wider support to the family and heartfelt wishes since his passing.

For those who would like to attend Steve's funeral, it is to be held at the Nene Valley Crematorium in Wellingborough on 21st Apr at 3pm (family flowers only). The wake will follow at the Old Scouts RFC.

Dress code is number ones for any rugby club members or smart dress (black not mandatory).
