... then please come along to "Joe Martin - The After Party" on Friday 11th June 2021 at Northampton Old Scouts RFC, Rushmere Road, Northampton.
At 2pm, a civil service will be held at Nene Valley Crematorium, 305 Doddington Road, Wellingborough NN8 2NX. As numbers are limited, please be respectful of the family & close friends to ensure they have access, however there is also a screen outside so the service can be viewed.
We have a webcast link available which can be found at https://www.obitus.com Username: mipi0442; password: 391111. You can login to this website at any time to view a test connection (and we strongly recommend you do this) but you'll only be able to view the Live Webcast approx. 5 mins before the service start time. Please be aware this is a public building and the timing of the Live webcast is semi-automated to allow for services running early or late – please use your discretion if you can see activities not applicable to the service you are here to watch. Once the service has finished, it will take us up to 3 working days to get the 28-day Watch Again onto the website.
Following the service, a celebration of Joe's life will take place at the Old Scouts Rugby Club. The bars will be open from 3.30pm to around 11 pm. COVID restrictions will be in place, with seated 6-place table service throughout the day and all attendees are required to check in using the NHS track and trace app. Masks are required when entering and moving around the club house.
Dress Code at both the service & after party will be bright summer/barbecue shirts - shorts if it’s hot, ladies get those bright summer frocks out ... this is what Joe would have wanted!
Family flowers have been arranged, so with this in mind Joe & Chloe's family respectfully request that if you wish, you may contribute to one of two funds:
The family have set up a GoFundMe page to build a trust fund for Charlie - Joe & Chloe’s 3 year old son - to support him when he reaches adulthood, giving him the security every father wishes for their son.
Alternatively, you may prefer to donate to Daisy's Dream, the family's chosen charity which supports children and their families who have been affected by the life threatening illness or bereavement of someone close to them.
Northampton Old Scouts & The Martins look forward to seeing you ... don't forget, Friday 11th June 3.30pm onwards. Entry ticket is a smile and a happy story!
