The Don White Festival was a smash hit once again for the Old Scouts Rugby club and proves what a much loved fixture it is for the local rugby teams.
This year, boundaries were pushed (literally) with 21 more teams than 2025, yet the super Old Scouts Club team and volunteers made it work and enjoyable for everyone. Luck was on our side again for the weather but we even think a bit of mud would not have dampened spirits.
Special recognition goes to Charlee Dolman and Toby Chambers who are instrumental in making it work. Our challenge to the families of the players is what could you do next year for the club to make it even better? Who wouldn't want to wear a high vis and chat on a radio to Tony Morrison all day?
See you next year!!
