As the season comes to a close its important to recognise the tireless effort of our volunteers. The club really wouldn't shine like it does, without you.
In recent years, we have traditionally awarded a 'clubman' of the year award, that was started in honour of Old Scout James Smith who died suddenly in 2016.
'Smithy' was the ultimate club man who would do anything for the Scouts and so the award was born.
This years winner was Charlee Dolman.
Charlee has been an inspiration and resilient force this year managing several projects including:
1. Starting the new Mini & Junior Committee
2. Starting the new ladies touch rugby team
3. Launching our first Santa Fun Run!
4. Leading the new generation Don White Festival
5. Organising the newly revamped mini & junior awards
PLUS, many many other things that go unseen.
Congratulations Charlee, we are really proud to call you the Club Person of the Year 24/25.
If you are inspired by the work of Charlee and our team and want to get involved, please speak to Charlee, Tony Morrison, Chris Hillery, your age group coach, or any of the club board.
