After the 2023/2024 senior season, Jordan Dolman will be stepping down as 1st XV captain.
The club has had many captains in its history, but Jordans tenure has been the clubs longest at 7 seasons, starting with the 2017/2018 campaign.
After making his debut at 17 for the seniors Jordan has been an outstanding squad member, but captaincy has certainly suited him. He has led by example on and off the pitch, most recently travelling back from Center parcs mid holiday to play!
Sadly, due to injury, Jordan will not play again this year so the squad will be doing their best to honour his leadership and commitment by retaining the Alliance Cup and hopefully getting to Twickenham in the Papa John Cup Final.
He isn’t calling his playing days over yet (he’s got plenty left in the tank) and the club will announce a new Captain before the start of next season.
For our non-playing members, it would be great to come and watch probably the last home game of the season on Saturday 27th April against Lichfield and have a beer with Jordan.
