It will soon be time to start the 25/26 season at the club, and although the ground and clubhouse are looking in a reasonable state, its always good to take an opportunity to have a big clean up.

As such we're looking to get as many volunteers down on 23rd August to do just that. Aiming to start at 9am and go on until mid afternoon. The more volunteers we have, the quicker it will be and all help is welcome, so even if you can only spare an hour, we'll be able to find something for you to get on with. Jobs we have in mind are as follows;

Club House;
Clean toilets
Clean main reception room
Clean kitchen
Empty Store Cupboard (in between bar and kitchen)
Erect shelving in sink space
Clear guttering
Clean Facias
Clear / Jet wash floor guttering
Jet wash / Sweep Patio
Stain Planters
Jet wash External entrance mat

Changing Rooms;
Clear guttering and fix as applicable
Clean toilets
Sweep / mop all rooms and fix hooks where required
Empty store cupboards and add shelving / fixings to aid better storage
Conduct kit / shirt inventory
Empty post / pad store (fixtures as above)
Sweep spectator terrace

Ground in general;
Strim around pitch / site (both sides)
Mow around site (both sides)
Clean advertising boards (both sides) / mend if fixings broken
Sweep / Clean dugouts
Litter sweep site
Weed Carpark

If anyone has any equipment (petrol strimmers / lawn mowers etc) that could be useful, please do bring them down. There will be a lead for each area on the day who will direct and organise the work.

It is everyone's club and prospers based upon the work of its members, so please make some time available to support and make sure the club starts the new season on the right note.
