Scouts back to their gritty best

A really good sized and enthusiastic crowd were entertained by two of the best Under 16's sides in the county. This was a tense high quality match played in excellent spirit by both teams. Scouts first up tackling and movement with the ball was excellent throughout. 5 all at half time after conceding a try to ON's in the last seconds of the half ,Scouts ran in two well worked and excellently finished tries to move 15-5 up. ON's throughout looked dangerous from driving mauls and line out set plays with their forwards driving the ensuing mauls forward and gaining yardage eventually culminating in their second converted try deep into the second half. Scouts however were never going to let this one slip and finished the game well deserved victors 15-12.

This was a team display throughout and the lads showed why they have been such a success through the years. Scouts back to their best. Merry Christmas to you all
