Colts Deserve Respect

This season has seen some closely contended games for the Colts (BBOB, Casuals, Wellingborough etc.). However, this is a predominantly young Colts side and inevitably they have also come up against some older and much bigger opposition (Ampthill, Bugbrooke for example). Unfortunately Saturday’s opposition were probably the biggest team they have faced all season. However, Scouts didn’t help themselves with unforced errors at crucial times with Buckingham capitalising on those mistakes. The boys didn’t lack for effort and continued tackling (honourable mentions to Kieran, Reece & Callum here), but they were eventually overwhelmed by a very strong, powerful team.

There are some good players here and hopefully some of these young men will go on to represent the 1st XV in the future (as Kieran has already done).
