"Scouts win again on their travels"

All our thanks to Bromsgrove Rugby Football Club for their hospitality. Bromsgrove RFC are one of the oldest rugby union clubs in the country( formed on 28 September 1872). I remember it well.

Scouts were again forced to shuffle the pack and play lads in unfamiliar positions.Again they rose to the challenge. Scouts started strongly and should have been ahead before Bromsgrove scored first after some indisipline from Scouts had allowed the ref to march us back to almost our own line. Scouts responded immediately scoring in the corner after some clever interchanges and strong phase play. Scouts learned quickly that this was not the day to dwell on decisions and be swayed by local vocal support and played the rugby that we know they can whenever they were allowed to. It was great to see the lads play with a smile on their faces and this was a hard and well deserved win.
