NOSRFC Under 10's headed down the road to play BBOB's. It was the first away trip, for the entire squad, and it was always going to be interesting to see how our 3 mixed ability teams would fare. The question was: can we ruck, pass, tackle and defend and not be individuals when playing against another team.
Well, these questions were answered. All three teams played extremely well, with everyone trying to offload whilst also putting in a defensive shift. With 6 matches being played, the total try count ended up at approx 35 tries for and 3 against....
There will be some tougher matches ahead, but if the boys trust their teammates and work hard as they did on Sunday, then similar rewarding scorelines will materialise.
Special note out to Thomas Reilly, who came down to see his teammates even though he was under surgeons orders to be on " bed rest".
Players of the week were Luke Nicholls and Ernie Jackson.
Parents, please keep drilling into the children that being involved in a try is as important ( if not more). See you all next week, well done once again.
