The U10s were the hosts of Wellingborough RFC for a joint training session on Sunday 22nd September 2013.
Training Game 1 - Wellingborough 3 tries Old Scouts 3 tries
The first training game saw both the Old Scouts and Wellingborough playing an evenly matched game that ended in a draw. Wellingborough started the stronger and were much quicker at the breakdown that eventually led to them scoring the first try. The Scouts battled hard with some good individual play and eventually drew level. Both sides showed good defensive and attacking skills with Wellingborough slightly better at the rucks and mauls.

Training Game 2 - Wellingborough 4 tries Old Scouts 4 tries
The second training game was also a tight and even game. The Scouts showed much better team play with some good defensive skills, tackling and passing. Again Wellingborough were slightly better at the breakdown than the Scouts to secure the draw.

Training Game 3 - Wellingborough 1 tries Old Scouts 6 tries
By the final training game, the Scouts larger squad and rotation of players proved the difference between the two teams. However, the players showed that their rucking and mauling had significantly improved from the start of the session.
