Whirlwind 4 tries in first 14 minutes!!

Constant pressure from the start by Scouts saw them take a seven point lead after three minutes when Jack Green fed Dean Lake to touch down and convert. Within minutes Scouts had recycled from the kick off and further pressure saw flanker Luke Reeves crash through three would be tacklers to score and Lake again added the extras.
The repeat button was pressed again when a poor kick from Butts was fielded and the ensuing attack saw some fluid passing between George Barrett and Liam Hancock and the final pass in the move was to Lake, who had come in from deep, to score his second and again convert.
Eight minutes in at 21 – nil the game was as good as over. With only another six minutes added hooker Alex Finney was involved in turning over the ball and then adding the five points. Lake again added the easy conversion.
Finney was again in the mix and turned over another Butts attempt to get of their own half . This resulted in George Barratt racing into the corner for Scouts fifth try of the afternoon.
Strangely the remainder of the half was scoreless and in the second half Scouts had switched off and were just going through the motions. The visitors did put more pressure on Scouts than they had in the first half and were rewarded with a seven pointer early on in the half.
The last half hour was fairly non-eventful although several scuffles did occur with both sides getting frustrated. This did result in a red card being given to the Butts 2nd row for joining in and throwing several punches.
Scouts are back in League action next Saturday at home to Melton Mowbray
